The Shenendehowa CSD Summer Program - Special Education/Extended School Year (ESY) is an academic based six-week summer program designed to help students maintain and further develop their skills over the summer.  Offering both full day and half-day opportunities with a schedule of Monday through Friday for the duration of the six-week program.

 

Compensation

$28.76/hr

 

Certifications/Qualifications

  • Current NYS Nursing License-RN
  • Current CPR and AED Certification
  • Must possess NYSED Fingerprint Clearance

Job Responsibilities

Teacher aide responsibilities include assisting students with social/emotional and learning difficulties in all school settings. Preferred experience working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges.

 

Compensation

Qualifications

Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) and experience with youth desirable.  Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Exhibit good judgment, mental alertness, tact and courtesy.  Physical condition commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
