Certifications/Qualifications - Valid NYS English Language Arts (Grades 7-12) certification
- Strong pedagogical approach to teaching and learning in English Language Arts, with a focus on NYS standards and skills in grades 10-12
- Experience with curriculum, instruction and assessment at the high school level is preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills, with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for adolescent learners
- Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction

- Foster an engaging and supportive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, close reading of texts, skillful writing and clear expression of ideas
