Shenendehowa Central School District has anticipated vacancies for summer programs and is now accepting applications.  The District is seeking culturally proficient individuals who actively foster an engaging environment where students can develop confidence in their own success consistent with the Profile of a Shenendehowa Employee.

 

Program Description

The Shenendehowa Summer School Program provides students in grades 6-12 an opportunity to take courses for credit recovery, skill building, and acceleration (Hybrid Health).

 

Compensation

$2,390/section (pro-rated)

(Sections will be determined based upon enrollment)

July 6, 2026 – August 19, 2026

Mon – Thurs, 7:50am-12:10pm

This program has a one-week break July 27-July 30.

Shenendehowa Central School District has anticipated vacancies for summer programs and is now accepting letters of interest.  CSEA contract section 89 indicates that employees interested in summer employment may file a written statement with the Office of Human Resources by March 1st of each year.  To express their interest, CSEA staff must apply through SchoolFront for the summer program(s) of interest.   

 

Program Description

The Shenendehowa CSD Summer Program - Special Education/Extended School Year (ESY) is an academic based six-week summer program designed to help students maintain and further develop their skills over the summer.  Offering both full day and half-day opportunities with a schedule of Monday through Friday for the duration of the six-week program.

Full Day:  Mon – Fri, 7:45am – 1:45pm (6hrs/day)

Half Day: Mon – Fri, 7:45am – 10:45am (3hrs/day)
