Assistant Director of Information Services
Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. Position Summary
Supports the strategic leadership, management, and continuous improvement of the school district's technology infrastructure, services, and support systems. This position assists in overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of district-wide information systems, network infrastructure, data management, cybersecurity, and technology support for instructional and administrative needs. Compensation & Benefits

$85,000-$100,000 per year, commensurate with experience

District Administrative Support Staff (DASS) health insurance and leave benefits

NYS & Local Retirement System (NYSLRS)

12 month position in professional work environment
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in information technology, education technology, computer science or related field, such experience should include leadership or supervisory roles.

Advanced degree in information systems management, computer networking or closely related field is preferred

Demonstrated understanding and background in informational technology security best practices

Experience in a K-12 educational environment is preferred

In order to be appointed permanently to this competitive position the individual must take the Saratoga County civil service exam for the job classification of Assistant Director of Information Services and be reachable on the resulting Saratoga County civil service list.
