Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. The District is seeking culturally proficient individuals who actively foster an engaging environment where students can develop confidence in their own success consistent with the Profile of a Shenendehowa Employee.

Certifications/Qualifications
- Valid New York State (NYS) certification as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations, interpreting results, and writing comprehensive reports.
- Ability to provide individual and group counseling to students with special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Experience in completing functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
- Proficiency in using data to inform decision-making and monitor student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations of students
- Interpret assessment results and write comprehensive reports that inform educational planning.
- Chair CSE meetings
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Facilitate behavioral assessments and intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs.
- Participate in school-based teams to support a positive school climate.
- Provide crisis intervention
