Network & Security Technical Manager
Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. Position Summary
Supports the strategic leadership, management, and continuous improvement of the school district's technology infrastructure, services, and support systems. This position designs, installs, configures, monitors, and maintains the network infrastructure. The primary responsibility is to uphold network access and security by preventing data loss, network interruptions, and related events through proactive measures. Working under the general direction of the Director of Information Service, this position will mentor and guide network and systems analysts and technicians. Major Responsibilities & Duties Overview
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000-$100,000 per year, commensurate with experience
- District Administrative Support Staff (DASS) health insurance and leave benefits
- NYS & Local Retirement System (NYSLRS)
- 12 month position in professional work environment
Qualifications
? Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer systems and networks;
? Advanced degree in cyber security, management information systems, computer networking or closely related field is preferred;
? Demonstrated understanding and background in informational technology security best practices;
? Experience in a K-12 educational environment is preferred.

This will be a provisional appointment. In order to be appointed permanently to this competitive position the individual must take the Saratoga County civil service exam for Computer Network Manager and be reachable on the resulting Saratoga County civil service list.
