1.0 FTE probationary, tenure track position
Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. Job Responsibilities
To provide leadership and assistance in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective curriculum and instructional programming in special education that is aligned with the District’s Mission Statement, values and beliefs, and applicable State and Federal regulations and standards. Compensation & Benefits
Minimally $90,000 per year, otherwise commensurate with experience
Shenendehowa Administrators’ Association (SAA)
Certifications/Qualifications
- Valid School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL) certificate preferred; NYS School Administrator/Supervisor (SAS) or School Building Leader (SBL) certificate required
- Valid teaching certification in special education or related field
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience teaching in special education or related field (school psychology, speech & language disabilities); and/or three (3) years’ of administration and supervision experience
